Sakura Hoodie Dress

So I was looking through my closet and found that I have ABSOLUTELY no fitted hoodies. All of them are A) old hand-me-downs, B) men's hoodies, or C) X-L hoodies from my chubby days. So I have none that fit the way I like them nor have any interesting designs. That's when I decided that my first project, after I make my Dress mannequin, was to make a hoodie and one thing I HATE about hoodies is when they're too short. So ta-da! Dress.

Trying to design what was going to go onto it was a little difficult so I started running through some sketch books, nothing, and then the images on my computer and found a folder labled "SAKURA". CLICK! Rummaged through it and it just so happened that while my iPod was on shuffle "Sakura Kiss" from Ouran came on. I guess fate wanted cherry blossoms. No problem I like 'em enough obviously. So with that decided I went to work.

There is no back design yet because I'm still deciding if I want anything on it. My options are blank, three sakura across the neck under the hood, some sakura going up the side or one large sakura in the center of the back. I'm mostly fighting between blank and the sakura under the hood...OR ON THE HOOD! Crap. I hate my spontaneous brain. Dammit...anyways. it probably would've helped if I HAD included them.

On to the colors. The first thing that came to mind was pink and green of course, but pink makes me look flushed out and, in my opinion, too much green makes me feel all Christmas-y. So then I thought yellow, don't know why, just did. BAM! Yellow base with green and pink. Then I thought about the sakura tree itself and tried brown, then a tan just to see and finally white just to have a even number up there. Finally I tried different variations of the colors. I'm also going to make sweatpants and leg-warmers to go with it I think, but not to wear at the same time....or maybe I will lol

That's it. i'm wrapping it up. Tell me what you think please. c: And wish me luck. Anyone know where I can by cheap duct tape and an adjustable stand???
