Description
This is my Vegas style Chocobo design. I plan to start on this as soon as possible and have three made by ColossalCon in June of 2010.
So over the weekend i went to download the song "Real Emotion" from Final Fantasy X-2 and just said "What the heck" when all the other songs from the game appeared. So I downloaded them all with included "Brass of the Chocobo"/"Chocobo Jam" and listened to the song a few times over. Then I looked up the bird and drew a few little doodles of them and before long I was dancing around my room to the jazzy song as if I was in the musical "Chicago".
Then it hit me...
My next cosplay would be a Chocobo show girl. The design didn't take long to make and finalize. My mom was even impressed with it. c: So I invited a friend over and asked what she thought and she agreed to it. Now I'm looking for our final member of the Chocobo Girls. Hopefully all will go well and we will get them done in time and be able to find a Cloud Strife to do the skit I have planned with us.
About the Costume:.
It is a yellow, halter-top leotard with feathers around the neck and breasts. The arm warmers are/will be made with fabric but at the elbow we will attatch more feathers. The back of the leotard will have a big feathers skirt that hangs to about the back of the knees/middle of calf. Brown fishnet tights or solid brown tights will be worn with either silver flats or silver stiletos or orange shoes of some type. The head dress will have a strap that goes under the chin to stay on and will be a orange Chocobo beak and feathers. The garter will be lined with fabric and tie together with a ribbon (did not draw) and be covered with feathers to match.
Please do not steal my design. I worked hard on it and want to be the first to use it. If you want to use it later once I have posted my own feel free. Just credit and send links to the final product. i will commision designs if you want me to.
